Barbeque Pork Rub

Looking for a BBQ pork rub recipe? Then this is the perfect blend for you to get high on the hog. Delicious sweet mixed with smokey heat and a little citrus kick makes this a number one barbecue rub mix for you to enjoy on butts, ribs and chops. 

  • 1 cup packed dark brown sugar
  • 1 cup celery salt
  • 1/2 cup paprika
  • 3 tablespoons chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lemon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne
 
 
Yields 3 cups
Combine brown sugar, celery salt, paprika, chili powder, black pepper, lemon pepper, garlic powder, cinnamon and cayenne in bowl. Rub liberally over your favorite cut of pork. Let stand at room temperature for up to 15 minutes or marinade in refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Store rub in airtight container.
