Homemade Beans Recipe from Ironworks BBQ

Recipe :

• 4Tbsp. Pinto Bean Seasoning
• Lbs. Dry, washed Pinto Beans
• 1/4 Cup cut up bacon, soft cooked, with drippings
• 1 medium Jalpeno pepper diced fine
• 1 medium yellow onion, coarse cut

Directions:

1. Using medium heat cover 2lbs beans with water (continue to add water to beans while cooking to keep them slightly covered).
2. Cook until beans soften (about one hour).
3. Add jalapeno, onion,
4. 4Tbsp. Pinto Bean Seasoning
5. Continue to simmer until beans are soft to the touch (about 2 hours).
